Botherme

Say it once. It won't let you forget.

Botherme keeps reminding you — on a schedule you set — until you actually mark it done. No lists that pile up, no reminders you swipe away and forget.

Available on Google Play. Coming to the App Store.

How it works

Three taps, and it's on you no more.

The whole app is one idea done well: you say a thing once, and it refuses to let the thing slip.

  1. Say it once

Type it the way you'd say it — "Call the dentist Thursday at 3." Botherme pulls the time out of the sentence and keeps the title clean.

  2. It keeps nagging

When it's due, the reminder comes back at the interval you chose — quietly, or with an alarm-style alert — instead of firing once and disappearing.

  3. Mark it done

Tap Done and the nagging stops on the spot. If it's a recurring task, the next one is already scheduled.

What you get

Everything a reminder should do, and nothing it shouldn't.

  • Say it in plain words

Type "Pay the electricity bill tomorrow at 7pm" and Botherme reads the time out of the sentence and sets it for you. No date pickers to fiddle with.

  • It nags until it's done

A due reminder doesn't fire once and vanish. It comes back at the interval you choose, again and again, until you actually tap Done.

  • Alarm-style alerts

Switch on alarm-style reminders so a due nag rings loud and hard to ignore — not a quiet notification you'll scroll past and forget.

  • Snooze on your terms

Not now? Push it ten minutes, an hour, to tonight, or to tomorrow. It comes back when you said, and keeps its promise to nag.

  • Recurring reminders

Every day, every Monday, every few months. Mark one done and the next one rolls forward on its own.

  • A quiet history

Everything you've finished is kept in one place — proof the nagging worked, without a feed to scroll.

  • Light or dark

Follow your system theme or pick your own. Botherme reads well at 6am and at midnight.

  • Completely on your device

No account, no sign-up, no cloud. Your reminders are stored on your phone and never leave it.

On your side

No feeds. No clutter. No cloud.

Botherme doesn't want your attention for its own sake. There's no social feed, no streaks to keep, no productivity score, and no account to make. It does one job — making sure the thing gets done — and then it gets out of your way. Every reminder stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.

Questions

Good to know.

How is Botherme different from the reminders app already on my phone?

The built-in reminders app fires a notification once. It's easy to swipe it away and forget the task ever existed. Botherme keeps reminding you at an interval you set — and, if you want, with an alarm-style alert — until you actually mark the task Done. The reminder is designed to be hard to ignore, which is the whole point.

What does "it nags until done" actually mean?

When a reminder comes due, Botherme sends it again on a schedule you choose — say every 15 minutes, or every hour — instead of firing a single alert. Each nag has a Done button. The moment you tap Done, the nagging stops. If the reminder repeats, like a daily task, the next one is scheduled automatically.

Is Botherme free?

Botherme is a paid app — a one-time purchase of $20, with no subscription, no ads, and no in-app purchases. You pay once at download and own it for life. It's shown as $19.99 on the App Store (the standard $20 price tier) and $20 on Google Play.

Does Botherme collect my data?

No. Botherme has no account, no sign-up, and no cloud. Every reminder is stored only on your device. There are no analytics, no trackers, and no ads. See our privacy policy for the full detail.

What happens if I get a new phone?

Because everything lives on your device and nothing is synced to a server, your reminders don't automatically move to a new phone. That trade-off is deliberate — it's how your data stays entirely private. You re-create your reminders on the new device.

Which platforms is Botherme on?

Botherme is built for iPhone and Android. It's arriving on Google Play first, with the App Store to follow. Grab it on Google Play, or check back here for the App Store link.
