Botherme collects nothing.
No account, no cloud, no trackers. Every reminder you make stays on your device. Here is exactly what that means.
The short version
Botherme collects nothing. It has no account, no sign-up, no servers, and no cloud. Every reminder you create is stored only on your device. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. Nothing you type into Botherme ever leaves your phone.
Who runs Botherme
Botherme is built and operated by
Ekarche Private Limited (CIN
U58200UW2026PTC253262), Mathura, Uttar Pradesh,
India. This policy covers the Botherme mobile app for iOS and
Android and this website, botherme.ekarche.com.
What data the app collects
None that leaves your device. Botherme is a local-only app. The reminders, schedules, and history you create are saved in a private database on your phone and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We have no way to see them, because there is no server for them to be sent to.
- No account. You never create a login, and we never ask for your name, email, or phone number.
- No cloud sync. Your data is not backed up to us or synced across devices.
- No analytics or tracking. Botherme contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers.
- No advertising. There are no ads in Botherme, so there is no ad-targeting data.
Permissions the app asks for, and why
Botherme only requests what it needs to remind you, and uses each permission entirely on-device:
- Notifications. So a due reminder can reach you. Without this, the app cannot do its one job.
- Exact alarms and scheduling (Android). So a reminder fires at the minute you set it, and the nag repeats reliably.
- Time zone. Read on-device so a reminder set for 7pm stays at 7pm if you travel.
Botherme does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or the internet.
Where your data lives, and how to delete it
All Botherme data lives in the app's private storage on your device. To delete a single reminder, remove it in the app. To delete everything Botherme holds, uninstall the app — that removes its on-device database completely. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side and no request to send us.
Purchases
Botherme is a paid app. When you buy it, the payment is handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their own terms and privacy policies. We never see your card details or billing information — the stores tell us only that a purchase was made, not who made it.
Children
Botherme is a general-purpose reminder tool and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal data at all, it does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Laws such as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), the GDPR (European Economic Area), and the CCPA (California) give you rights over personal data a company holds about you — to access it, correct it, or delete it. Botherme holds no personal data about you, so in practice there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, or erase. If you have a question, write to hello@ekarche.com and we will respond within thirty days.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Botherme ever changes what it collects, we will update this page and the date at the top before that version ships, and describe the change plainly.
